Lopping off overhead limbs is a serious task, and anybody who has attempted it will agree. It is hard and oftentimes dangerous work. Add to the heights and the falling debris the need to actually get a blade sawing way up there and you will begin to see the beauty of a cordless pole saw.

A manual version of this tool is exactly what it sounds like. It is simply a blade on the end of a long pole. You would hold that thing up in the tree, lay it on the desired branch, and start sweating it out from underneath. Needless to say, this was difficult.

At some point somebody added electricity to the mix, so then the saw did most of the work. But you still had the problem of getting electricity out to the trees to be trimmed. On large acreage this was a problem. In a big back yard this could be a problem.

Then it became obvious that most trees are never conveniently located near an electrical outlet, so the cordless version came about. Now things started getting easier still. With a wired version you needed extension cords ran out, or a generator nearby, or you were right back with the manual version and no better off.

Now the tree timer can get out and roam freely, never having to worry about tangling up the cord, getting a generator fueled up and fired, let alone even having one to use, and with a decent charge can get plenty of work done fairly easily. Dodging branches is still necessary, but that will probably never change.

By eliminating the need to be tied to a nearby power source, any tool can increase its value to the user exponentially. Cordless pole saw perhaps do this even more so. Cutting and trimming trees is a serious job needing serious tools, and this may be one to put to work for it.

Make yardwork easy again – get a cordless pole saw.
